JACK WERT

Mr. Wert is the Executive Director of the Collier County Convention and Visitors Bureau. He has more than 30 years of experience in advertising and promotion in the tourism industry, including destinations, hotels, restaurants and attractions.

He also has extensive marketing experience in banking, health care, citrus and sports promotion. Previously, he was Executive Director of the Seminole County, Florida Convention and Visitors Bureau. He will provide a local perspective of potential Red Tide effects on tourism and the local economy.

Mr. Wert spoke in the State of the Gulf Conference and the Red Tide Workshop.
