"Gulf of Mexico Minute" Radio Series Reaches Southwest Florida

In partnership with WGCU Public Media, Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research  Reserve, and Earth Gauge, the Gulf Alliance Team in Florida produced 40 radio spots to raise awareness about Gulf issues.  Reaching over 2400 listeners every Saturday morning, the public service announcements encourage residents and visitors to watch for manatees while boating, prepare for hurricanes, pick up trash on the beaches, protect endangered species, and use fertilizers responsibly.   The full series can be found on the Media Page in the Podcasts section.
